Online Exhibition

Welcome to the A55 Junctions 15 & 16 Improvements Online Exhibition page. The online exhibition is split into 3 areas: Welcome, J14/J15 Online Exhibition (Llanfairfechan) and J16/16A Online Exhibition (Penmaenmawr and Dwygyfylchi).

Links to the exhibition material will be available from this page, once the draft Compulsory Purchase Orders for each of the junctions have been published.

Why are we holding an online exhibition?

We are holding a virtual exhibition in response to the current social distancing guidance and Welsh Government Coronavirus (COVID-19) advice, as we do not consider it is in the interest of both the public and the team’s safety to hold face to face exhibitions or meetings that are open to the general public.

We will continue to review this guidance and dependent on the current situation may also hold face to face exhibitions or meetings on an appointment only basis.

What are you doing for people who are unable to access material online?

In addition to holding a virtual exhibition, when the draft Orders are published letters will be distributed to approximately 900 local properties for Junction 14 and 15 (Llanfairfechan) and 380 local properties for Junction 16 and 16A (Penmaenmawr and Dwygyfylchi). These include details how to get in touch with the team to request copies of the material in different formats.

Notices advising of the publication of the draft Orders and environmental information, as well as explaining how to request information, will also have been placed in prominent locations in the communities such as at libraries and on the Town Councils notice boards.
